• Plan Your Visit

  DIRECTIONS
  We recommend arriving via Dartmouth Coach or personal vehicle, as these are the most reliable options. Dartmouth Coach offers frequent service from Boston Logan Airport and South Station, with drop-off in downtown Hanover just a short walk from Tuck. If driving, parking will be available on campus. Other travel options, such as regional flights or Amtrak, are available but may require advance planning and local transportation arrangements. Review FAQs

• Who should register to attend this event?

  Discover Tuck events are open to all prospective MBA students who are eager to experience what it’s like to be part of Tuck’s personal, connected, and transformative learning community. If the event theme resonates with you and you’re interested in connecting with the Tuck community, we encourage you to register. 
• Why should I register to attend this event?

  There’s no better way to get a true sense of a business school than by experiencing it in person—and that’s exactly what Discover Tuck events offer. From walking through campus and sitting in on various panels to engaging in candid conversations with students, faculty, staff, alumni, and fellow prospective applicants, these moments bring the Tuck experience to life in a way that no brochure or website can.  

  You’ll have the opportunity to ask your most important questions, make meaningful connections, and gain a clearer understanding of how Tuck’s personal, connected, and transformative environment will support your goals. 
• Will attending the event help my chances of getting into Tuck?

  Admission to the Tuck MBA program is based on a holistic review of each candidate, and no single factor—such as attending an event—guarantees admission.  

  That said, attending can be a valuable opportunity to learn more about Tuck’s community, career opportunities, and academic environment. Many prospective students find that engaging with current students, alumni, and the Admissions team helps them reflect more deeply on their goals and experiences, and ultimately submit a stronger, more informed application. 
• Where is the event held?

  Discover Tuck events are held in-person at the Tuck School of Business in Hanover, NH.  
• What is the deadline to register for the event?

  The registration deadline for Discover Tuck: Military Visit Day is Wednesday, September 10. 
• Can I bring a guest/partner to the event?

  Yes! A guest/partner is welcome to join you for Discover Tuck: Military Visit Day. In fact, we’ll be hosting a dedicated partner coffee chat as part of the event, and partners are invited to participate in all scheduled programming alongside prospective students.

  We hope this opportunity helps both you and your guest gain a deeper understanding of the Tuck experience—from our close-knit community to the personal, academic, and professional opportunities that define the Tuck MBA.

  Please be sure to indicate on your registration form if your guest will attend, so we can plan accordingly.
• How much does it cost to attend the event?

  There is no fee to register for or participate in Discover Tuck: Military Visit Day. Tuck will provide event meals for Discover Tuck: Military Visit Day attendees. 
• How do I get to Hanover?

  We highly encourage attendees to arrive via Dartmouth Coach or personal vehicle. While other options exist in the Upper Valley, rideshare services are limited (and often unavailable), so these are your two most reliable options. Please see the details that follow to learn more.

  Dartmouth Coach: Boston is Hanover’s most versatile access point. The Dartmouth Coach bus service connects both Boston Logan Airport and Boston South Station (interstate buses, Amtrak, and MBTA) with 10 daily routes. The Dartmouth Coach drops you off in downtown Hanover, along the Dartmouth College Green, and is just a short walk to Tuck. Dartmouth Coach also offers service between Hanover and New York City.

  Personal Vehicle: Hanover is a short two-hour drive from Boston or five-hour drive from New York City. We will have parking available for those who drive to Hanover.

  Local Airport or Train (less preferred): There is also the Lebanon, NH airport (immediately south of Hanover) which flies a few flights per day to White Plains, NY and Boston, MA. Please note that these are very small aircraft with perhaps a dozen seats. In addition, Amtrak serves White River Junction, VT (across the Connecticut River from Hanover). If choosing these options, you may encounter significant wait times for car services/rideshare to get to/from Tuck as these services are limited in our area. Consider reaching out to local car services ahead of time to arrange transportation in advance.

  There are a few other airports (Burlington, VT; Manchester, NH; Hartford, CT) that will bring you closer to Hanover, in case you are trying to compare flight costs, but you would need to rent a car. 

  Our directions page will provide information on travelling by car, plane, bus, or train. 
• How will I get around during the event?

  Event sessions will take place in several locations across the Tuck campus, all of which are easily walkable. While you can expect some movement between buildings, the campus is compact and interconnected. Expect to get a feel for what it’s like to navigate Tuck as a student!
