The temperatures are dropping. We had our first "snow" a week or two ago-- it was too warm to stick, but it was still pretty magical to watch the little white snowflakes swirling through the air (at least to this winter-weather novice). However, while it's been too warm for snow accumulation, it has been cold enough to wake up to a frosted wonderland each morning the past week.

We've had a slew of sunny days lately, so combine the frosty landscape with the sun's rays peeking over the trees in the morning, and you get such a stunningly beautiful sight that it takes my breath away (this picture really doesn't do it justice). It makes me pretty excited to see this place covered in a blanket of snow.
