Finding the right MBA Program takes time. From the courses, to the culture, to the location, there are many considerations that go into the final decision of where to apply. Admissions events are a wonderful way to connect not only with our wonderful admissions colleagues, but also Tuck students and alumni.
Although we can no longer welcome you to campus, we have pivoted our traditional admissions events to a virtual format and are excited to meet you over Zoom. Tuck admissions events are open to all prospects and applicants, but you will notice that some events focus on specific regions, industries, or affinities.
We are constantly adding new events, and we know that the list can seem overwhelming, so below is a breakdown of the different event types we’re hosting this year.
These are much like the traditional information sessions we used to host, but in a virtual format. An admissions officer will walk you through a 20-minute presentation about Tuck, our mission and our admissions criteria, and then you will get assigned a breakout room with one (or more!) of our wonderful alum. This is your chance to ask them questions about their Tuck experience, why they chose Tuck for their MBA journey, and their career journey post-Tuck.
Every Tuesday, at multiple times, our Admissions colleagues host small virtual meetings with prospective students to answer any questions about Tuck, the admissions process, and the application. These are more personal meetups with 20-30 people to ensure that you, the prospect or applicant, have all the information you need on your MBA journey.
What was once on-campus student lunches and Q&As are now Virtual Student Q&As. These thrice-weekly Q&As are hosted by 2-3 T’21s and T’22s and are open for all prospective applicants to attend. This is a great opportunity to ask questions of those who are currently living the Tuck MBA experience.
There are two types of coffee chats we currently host. Our Virtual Coffee Chats with Students are small group meetups where you can speak to student ambassadors about career paths, clubs, their recruitment journey, and life at Tuck. The second type of coffee chat, Virtual Coffee Chats with the Director, are Q&A events with one of the Directors of Tuck Admissions and Financial Aid. This event gives you an opportunity to learn more about Tuck's mission to educate wise, decisive leaders and gain valuable insight into the application process.
This text-only chat with our Financial Aid team is a great first step to planning for financing your MBA. Members of our Financial Aid Team will be at their desks ready to answer all your questions about loans, scholarships, and getting your finances in order to ensure a smooth transition before and after business school.
Every month, during admissions season, we host an “Answers Only” webinar. This is a quickfire question and answer event, where you submit questions before-hand or live in the Q&A and we have two admissions officers ready to address all your application concerns. Come prepared with all your questions, there’s no presentation here, just a live Q&A.
