Robert Hedlund T’92

Rob Hedlund is an experienced investor who is currently focused on investing in private companies, both startups and mature businesses. From 2009 to 2024, he was an institutional investor in corporate credit, most recently with General Atlantic, a global investment firm. Prior to GA, he was a founding partner of two credit investment platforms, River Birch Capital and Iron Park Capital (acquired by GA in 2023). Hedlund was previously an investment banker with Lehman Brothers from 1986–2008, where he focused on high yield bond and leveraged loan origination and syndication. He received an AB from Princeton University and an MBA from the Tuck School at Dartmouth College.
