Dear Tuck Students,
All Dartmouth College community members who are fully vaccinated are required to test once weekly. Those who are not vaccinated (e.g. those with approved exemptions) are required to test twice weekly. To support this testing cadence and ensure it is manageable for community members, take-home testing kits are now available. These kits allow community members to participate in self-administered, unobserved testing by returning a completed kit within 12 hours of sample collection at drop-off sites across campus.
As this take-home testing program expands, there are some important changes that Tuck students—who were the first population on campus to use this method—now need to know about:
The current drop-off site at Tuck is Byrne 126 (the Jacquemin room). The hours for this location are currently Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Byrne 126 will close next Friday, October 1 as a drop-off site and we will transition to using a system of a dozen drop boxes throughout the Dartmouth College campus to return take-home tests. At Tuck, there is now a drop box right outside of the AMOS student mailroom. It is already operational, Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. You can find the complete listing of drop box locations and their collection hours here. Please note that these drop boxes have set hours. You will not be able to drop off completed kits outside of these hours.
In preparation for this transition on October 1, when students test this week and next, the Axiom team member in Byrne 126 will hand out a bundle of four test kits per student per week. These are to be used in the weeks ahead, ensuring that Tuck students have enough kits stocked from now until winter break. The AMOS mailroom will be the location to pick up future testing kits. You may pick up test kits from the team at AMOS, Monday – Friday, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Alumni Gym (West Gym) will continue to offer observed in-person testing on campus at the hours below:
M, T, TH 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m | W 6:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. | F 6:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
