Contact Tracing and Presence in Tuck Classrooms

August 17, 2021

Dear Students, Faculty and Staff,

Last night I sent a message about contact tracing and notification protocols. In addition to the information shared in that message, please note that Tuck community members who are contact traced must receive a negative PCR test result before they return to being physically present in classrooms for classes or for mandatory co-curricular offerings. This is a policy that we at Tuck are implementing out of an abundance of caution to keep our community well.

Close contacts who are fully vaccinated do not need to quarantine, but prudence dictates that until close contacts receive a negative result, they should refrain from entering classroom spaces in which they could risk exposing others. The PCR test results for contact tracing are usually received within 24-48 hours.

We thank everyone for continuing to do their part for public health and wellbeing.
