Caroline Freund, senior fellow at the Peterson Institute for International Economics since May 2013, was chief economist for the Middle East and North Africa at the World Bank (2011–13). Prior to that she was lead economist (2009–11) and senior economist (2002–09) in the research department of the World Bank. She was also senior economist at the International Monetary Fund (2006–07) and economist at the Federal Reserve Board (1997–2003). A light lunch will be provided.
