Tuck scholarship awards are made possible through the generosity of Tuck alumni, corporations, and nonprofit foundations. There is no separate application process for Tuck scholarships. Instead, Tuck’s admissions and financial aid office conduct a holistic review of each candidate’s application for admission.
Scholarships are awarded at the discretion of the school based on merit to incoming students who distinguish themselves through outstanding academic achievement, professional and personal accomplishments, leadership potential, and the capacity to contribute meaningfully to Tuck’s uniquely immersive learning community. The majority of available scholarships are awarded at the time of admission, with additional offers extended as the school continues to assemble the strongest possible entering class.
Tuck scholarships range from $10,000 to full tuition, with an average award of $34,679 per academic year.
Scholarships are automatically renewed for the second year, provided the recipient maintains a satisfactory academic record during the first year at Tuck. Students who receive a scholarship will be provided with detailed information, including the name of the donor, after matriculation. Named scholarships replace the initial Tuck scholarship award. All scholarship recipients are expected to write a letter of appreciation to the donor in recognition of their support.
Second Year Scholarship Opportunity
The Willard M. Bollenbach Jr. 1949 Fund
Two recipients will receive a scholarship award through the Bollenbach Fund. The awards will be given to two second-year Tuck students of superior intellectual capacity and academic achievement, and who show overall promise as a business leader. The specific criteria are:
- The student is in the top ten percent of the class at the end of the first year.
- One will be awarded on merit alone and one must also demonstrate financial need.
- The amount, when combined with any other scholarship, fellowship, grant or sponsorship, will not exceed the amount of tuition.
- Specific application requirements are available through the Financial Aid Office.
