By Plane
Boston Logan (BOS) - 2-2.5 hours away; Dartmouth Coach and Greyhound bus service to Hanover. Many students have found that the easiest, most dependable way to travel to Hanover by plane is via Boston Logan.
Manchester, NH, Regional Airport (MHT) - 90 minutes south; limited Greyhound bus service to Hanover (Hanover Inn). Many visitors that fly into Manchester choose to rent a car.
Lebanon, NH, Municipal Airport (LEB) - 10 miles south; limited commuter flights from White Plains, NY and Boston, MA. Please note that these are very small aircraft with perhaps a dozen seats. If choosing this option, you may encounter significant wait times for car services/rideshare to get to/from Tuck as these services are limited in our area. Consider reaching out to local car services ahead of time to arrange transportation in advance.
By Bus
ASW Charter Bus
Tuck will charter and cover the cost of roundtrip buses for event attendees between Hanover, NH and Boston, MA or New York City, NY. You will be responsible for arranging and paying for any travel outside of the Tuck-sponsored charter bus. To request a seat on the charter buses, you must indicate interest in the Tuck-sponsored charter buses in your ASW registration. Seats on the charter buses will be allocated on a first come, first served basis with seats available for both Round 1 and Round 2 admitted students and their partners. Within one week of completing your ASW registration, you will receive an email either confirming your seat allocation or placing you on the waitlist for the charter bus.
An outline of the charter bus departure schedule is as follows:
- Roundtrip Boston
- Departs from South Station on Friday, April 10, ~6:15 AM ET
- Drop off at Tuck (approximately 2.5 hour trip) with luggage storage available on campus and shuttles running to Residence Inn Hanover Lebanon, Courtyard Hanover Lebanon, Hilton Garden Inn Hanover Lebanon, Hampton Inn White River Junction, and Holiday Inn Express White River Junction throughout the day
- Departs from Tuck on Saturday, April 11, 6:00 PM ET
- Roundtrip New York City
- Departs from 150 East 42nd Street on Thursday, April 9, ~5:00 PM ET
- Drop off at Hilton Garden Inn Hanover Lebanon, Residence Inn Hanover Lebanon, Courtyard Hanover Lebanon, Hanover Inn, Tuck Circle, Hampton Inn White River Junction, and Holiday Inn Express White River Junction (approximately 5 hour trip)
- Departs from Tuck on Saturday, April 11, 6:00 PM ET
Dartmouth Coach
Boston is Hanover’s most versatile access point. The Dartmouth Coach bus service connects both Boston Logan Airport and Boston South Station (interstate buses, Amtrak, and MBTA) with 10 daily routes. The Dartmouth Coach drops you off in downtown Hanover, along the Dartmouth College Green, and is just a short walk to Tuck. Dartmouth Coach also offers service between Hanover and New York City.
Greyhound
Greyhound offers limited service between Hanover, NH, Manchester, NH, Boston, and New York City. Greyhound drops you off in downtown Hanover, outside the Hanover Inn, and is just a short walk to Tuck.
By Car
Driving to Hanover is a lovely way to experience scenic New England. Hanover is a short two-hour drive from Boston or five-hour drive from New York City. We will have parking available for those who drive to Hanover. View detailed, written directions.
Parking
Free parking, with display of parking permit on your dashboard, is available in:
- Ledyard Lot (5 Boathouse Road, Hanover, NH 03755); 5-minute walk to Tuck
- Dewey Lot (1 Dewey Field Road, Hanover, NH 03755); 15-minute walk to Tuck
- Friday only: Advanced Transit Shuttle service runs from Dewey Lot to Tuck (7:00 AM-7:00 PM ET)
Please print a parking permit in advance so you don't need to return to your vehicle after registration.

There is a wide selection of local hotels/inns in the area.
If you will not have a car, we highly encourage you to stay at one of the hotels Tuck will be providing shuttle service to/from throughout the event. Shuttle service is indicated by an asterisk below. Tuck will not provide transportation to/from any other hotels.

10-15 minute drive to campus. ASW room block available on a first come, first served basis at a rate of $209 USD per night. Book here by March 31 to secure the ASW rate.

10-15 minute drive to campus. ASW room block available on a first come, first served basis at a rate of $199 USD per night. Book here by April 5 to secure the ASW rate.

Shuttle Service
Tuck will be providing transportation to/from the following hotels throughout programming Friday–Saturday, with limited service on Sunday morning until 11:00 AM ET to assist those making connections to the Concord Coach and Greyhound buses.

Please note that car services/rideshare to get to/from Tuck are limited in our area, so do not plan to rely on services such as Lyft or Uber. Additional information on shuttle route schedules will be provided the week before the event. Please be mindful of the last shuttles at the conclusion of programming each night as we are not able to arrange transportation outside of these pre-scheduled routes.
Additional Logistics
Dress Code
There’s no formal dress code. Wear what you’re most comfortable in. Day-to-day at Tuck is casual and practical for the season.
- Typical attire: jeans, sweaters, blouses, dresses, sneakers, boots
- Friday Band Party theme: Space Cowboy (dress to theme if you’d like!)
Luggage Storage
Storage space will be available Friday and Saturday. Please note: Luggage storage will not be locked or monitored.
Tuck Spaces
There are a number of spaces available to you throughout the weekend to make you feel at home in Hanover.
- Quiet workspace will be available most of the event in Byrne Hall (second floor study rooms).
- There’s a Prayer and Meditation Room located across from Borelli Classroom on the Raether Classroom Level.
- The Lactation Room can be found in Tuck Hall on the second floor. Please ask a member of the Admissions team for access.
Virtual Participants
Select sessions will be available to stream. Streaming information will be available in the event app (access will be provided the week of ASW). Recordings will be posted the week after ASW.
