Tuck Set to Debut Spring and Fall Reunion Schedule in 2025

Beginning next year, alumni reunions will occur on campus during two distinct weekends, with one set of reunion classes gathering in the spring and another in the fall.

For hundreds of alumni each year, Reunion Weekend is a chance to relive some of the magic that defines the Tuck experience.

Soon, this cherished occasion to gather, reconnect, and celebrate two unforgettable years in Hanover will no longer be confined to a single season.

Beginning in 2025, Tuck reunions will be split between two separate weekends, with one set of reunion classes gathering in the spring and another in the fall. The 10th, 15th, and 20th reunion classes, about 500 alumni and guests, will celebrate their reunion on April 25-27, 2025. Another 600 alumni and guests representing the 5th, 25th, 30th, 35th, 40th, 45th, 50th, and post-50th reunion classes will convene October 3-5, 2025, for their reunions.

Executive Director of Alumni Engagement Liz Nuñez says the new structure will expand access and offer more opportunities for alumni to connect with each other and members of the Tuck community.

“We know alumni want to be together to engage with the people and places that matter most to them,” says Nuñez. “We’re excited to create more space for those interactions and to invite the spring reunion classes to experience campus during an especially vibrant season.”

Alumni who attend reunions in the fall typically enjoy the spoils of peak foliage in the Upper Valley, but Nuñez says there is a particular energy that pulses through Tuck Hall in spring.

With a blossoming landscape as its backdrop, the April reunion weekend will arrive fresh on the heels of Admitted Students Weekend and just a few weeks away from Investiture.

“As spring takes hold, you can see and feel the excitement of the second-year students,” adds Nuñez. “It’s a special time of year to be on campus.”

Tuck successfully piloted a spring reunion schedule in 2022 when it hosted pandemic-postponed reunions on three separate weekends in April and May. Those events drew rave reviews from more than 1,000 alumni who made their highly anticipated return to campus.

Another benefit of the expanded reunion schedule will be the opportunity to create more customized programming for alumni in similar life and career stages.

Mainstays of reunion programming, including class-organized social events, updates from school leaders, and classroom sessions with Tuck faculty will continue, with the new reunion schedule also allowing Nuñez and her team to plan more customized programming for alumni in similar life and career stages. Another special feature for both 2025 reunion weekends, spring and fall, will be the opportunity to celebrate Tuck’s 125th anniversary.

Alumni are already anticipating Tuck’s upcoming 2024 Reunion Weekend, scheduled for October 18-20, 2024.

Among them, Dick Schmitt T’69 is returning to celebrate his 55th reunion this fall. Schmitt says he has missed only one reunion since graduating and that as the decades pass, he always looks forward to being with his classmates and recalling the memories they shared.

“Whether you graduated five years ago or fifty-five years ago, we all chose Tuck. We were all drawn to this unique place and environment,” says Schmitt. “For me, reunions reinforce and call to mind everything that sets Tuck’s MBA experience, and the community, apart.”

We have all taken our own winding paths since leaving Tuck and I love hearing those updates from classmates and getting to know their families. Our lives change in remarkable ways, but Tuck is still such an important and enlightening pillar of that story. I can’t wait to be back.
