Logistics
Boston Charter Bus
Tuck will charter, covering the cost of, a roundtrip bus from Boston, MA < > Hanover, NH exclusively for Winter Welcome attendees. The bus will depart from South Station on Friday, January 17, at 6:15 a.m., those confirmed to take the bus should plan to arrive at the station by 6:00 a.m. to board the bus. The journey to Tuck’s campus will take approximately 2.5 hours. The return bus will depart from Tuck on Friday, January 17, at 6:15 p.m. with expected arrival at South Station by 8:45 p.m.
Space on the charter bus will be allocated on a first come, first served basis with space available for both admitted students and their partners. You may request a space on the bus during your Winter Welcome registration. Within one week of completing the registration, you will receive an email either confirming your seat allocation or placing you on the waitlist for the bus.
Luggage Storage
Storage space is available in the Admissions waiting room on the first floor of Chase Hall. Please note: this room will not be locked or monitored.
Parking
If you are driving to Hanover and need a place to park your car on Friday, there will be two free parking options available on Dartmouth’s campus.
Note: Prior to your arrival in Hanover, please print this permit. You will need to display this permit on your dashboard after parking. If you are unable to print the permit, we will have extra permits printed and available at registration.
Ledyard Parking Lot (5 Boathouse Road, Hanover, NH 03755)
- Ledyard parking lot is located directly below Tuck’s campus and is approximately a 5 minute walk to Tuck. Please follow signs directing you up the stairs to get to campus.
Dewey Parking Lot (1 Dewey Field Road, Hanover, NH 03755)
- The walk to Tuck is approximately 15 minutes so we recommend that you take the Advance Transit Shuttle which arrives and departs from this lot every 10-30 minutes 7 a.m.–7 p.m. ET depending on time of day (see schedule) right to/from Tuck. Please follow signs directing you to Tuck’s campus.
Please use this map to help guide you to the correct parking area and to show you where Tuck is located on the Dartmouth campus. For accessible parking close to Tuck, please email Tuck Admissions as soon as possible to make arrangements.
Prayer and Lactation Rooms
A Prayer and Meditation Room is located across from Borelli Classroom on the Raether Classroom Level. The Lactation Room can be found in Tuck Hall on the second floor at the top of the stairs. Please don’t hesitate to ask a member of the Admissions team and we’ll be happy to help you locate either of these spaces.
